An Overview of Court of Protection Services
If a person has become incapable of managing their affairs due to mental incapacity before they have been able to complete a lasting Power of Attorney, their financial affairs will still need to be dealt with. This will involve making an application to the Court of Protection to appoint someone a Deputy.
We provide advice and assistance in dealing with the application including completing the forms and dealing with the court office for a fixed fee of £850.00 plus VAT. There will be a fee payable to the court in addition to this sum. this fee is currently £400.00
